about me
My wife Paulette and I have been married 29 years and have spent nearly all our married life in Clayton, except for 2.5 years when the Air Force stationed me in Virginia. Paulette was born and raised in Randolph Township/Clayton. She loves this area and is passionate about fostering a community that cares for one another. I couldn’t ask for a better partner.
We have three children: David, Rachel, and Grace.
Our oldest daughter Grace tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident with her fiancé Jamie in May 2021. After her death, we were deeply moved by the many people she touched. Grace was a free spirit, generous, and creative. We miss her every day.
David lives in Alabama, working as an accountant and pursuing missions work. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), he had three open-heart surgeries by age three. Today, he enjoys everyday life to the fullest, knowing each day is a gift.
Rachel lives in the Atlanta area and is the southeast regional manager for a nonprofit equipping college students to be leaders on campus. Growing up passionate about political activism with her grandparents in Clayton, she has shared valuable insights for my campaign.
This is the last family picture of us. Value your family and cherish the time you have with them. Tomorrow is not promised.
